Bio:
David Chow, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and the Co-Director of the Toronto Retina Institute. He started his academic career at McGill University in Montreal then joined Illinois Retina Associates in Chicago before returning to his childhood home, Toronto. He has been the Editor in Chief of the Journal Techniques in Ophthalmology, served on the board of ASRS, co-founded the Canadian Retina Society and is the course director and co-founder of the Retina Fellow Forum. He has over 40 publications, 40 visiting professorships and given over 275 lectures worldwide. His academic interests include the development of Instrumentation with 6 patented instruments and the evolution of endoillumination. He is married to an Oculoplastic Surgeon and has 3 daughters who share his love of sports and travel.
